The 2nd grade classes had an awesome time visiting the Kishwaukee Heritage Museum in Genoa, IL. They were able to look at items that define our community. The volunteers from the museum were on hand to share and talk about the different items. This field trip is part of a unit containing 5 lessons about looking at items in history and deciding on their significance in history.
Everyone had a great time!!! A special shout out to the Museum and all of the volunteers who made this possible. Another shout out goes to Dr. Trevor Steinbach for setting up and organizing this experience for our students.
